šOctober rolls in with pumpkins on porches, Halloween costumes half-finished, and the smell of apple candles in the air. And before we know it, Thanksgiving sneaks up... bringing with it meal planning, family gatherings, travel, and to-do lists that seem to multiply overnight. Itās easy to feel like fall flies by in a blur of busyness, but what if this year, you pressed pause on the rushĀ and made space for presence?
š«A Mindset Shift for the Season
Hereās a simple mindset reframe to carry through the fall: I don't need to do everything perfectly, I just need to be present for the moments that matter.
If you catch yourself spiraling into the small stuff... the burnt pie, the crooked costume, the forgotten side dish... take a breath and ask:
Will this matter a year from now?
Chances are it won't. What will matter is the laughter around your table, your kidsā faces in costume, and how you felt when you slowed down enough to actually enjoy it.
⨠This season, trade perfection for peace.
⨠Swap pressure for presence.
⨠Remember that the small moments are often the ones that last the longest.
Fall Self-Care Ritual: 5 Min Morning Grounding
Start your day with this quick grounding ritual (before you check your phone):
āPour yourself a warm drink
š Step outside for one minute of fresh air... feel the crispness on your skin
š¤ Take three deep breaths and set an intention for the day:
š Iāll stay calm during chaos, Iāll make space for fun, or Iāll choose ease over rush
Itās simple, but those five minutes will set the tone for your entire day.

A Thanksgiving Gratitude Practice
š¦ As the days get shorter and the holidays draw near, itās easy to focus on whatās next... the next event, the next meal, the next thing on your list. But gratitude has a way of grounding us right back into NOW.
This year, create a simple Gratitude JarĀ for the month of November (even if you've done this in the past, it's still so powerful). Hereās how:
1ļøā£ Grab a jar, basket, or bag
2ļøā£ Keep small slips of paper nearby
3ļøā£ Each day, write down one thing youāre grateful for big or small.... Things like:
hot coffee, my family, or a quiet 10 minutes to breathe
By the time the month ends, youāll have a jar full of tiny reminders of everything thatās going right. You can read them aloud at dinner or just keep them for yourself as a beautiful visual reminder of how much you already have.
⨠Gratitude doesnāt just change your focus, it changes your energy.
